Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety inspector in Hancock County, Illinois. You will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
