We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Morgan County, Tennessee. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Meals and transport allowance provided.
