Urgent requirement: occupational health and safety officer (Missouri)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Wright County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment 4+ years on the tools preferred.
