Urgent requirement: gtaw welder (South Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Buffalo County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
