Stainless steel welder — Camden County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Camden County, New Jersey. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
