Shuttering charge hand — Midlothian

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Midlothian, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
