Rigger — City of Baltimore

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in City of Baltimore, Maryland. You will work at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
