Foundry labourer wanted in Urue Offong/Oruko

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Urue Offong/Oruko, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
