Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Hong, Adamawa State. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₦160,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
