Semi-automatic welder • Ben Hill County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Ben Hill County, Georgia. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time with occasional weekends.
