Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in City of Salem, Virginia. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Full-time, day shift.
