Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. Day-to-day duties: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
