Great opportunity: safety marshal (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Mercer County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
