Shopfront glazier — Nicholas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Nicholas County, Kentucky. The job is at a double glazing firm. Your main tasks: • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame Requirements: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
