Backhoe operator • Grafton County, New Hampshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Grafton County, New Hampshire. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. You will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Six days a week, one day off.
