Immediate opening: turning centre operator (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; write and edit G-code programs at the control. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls We offer $130 per day plus benefits.
