Hand presser wanted in Piatt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Piatt County, Illinois. You will work in a busy laundry. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Full-time, day shift.
