Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Carroll County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Carroll County, Maryland. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
