Your main tasks: • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Requirements: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
