Concrete placer • Lawrence County, South Dakota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Lawrence County, South Dakota. Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 5+ years on the tools preferred.
