Fabricator-welder wanted in Wagoner County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Wagoner County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead 6+ years on the tools preferred.
