Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
