Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Yadkin County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar You should have: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Performance bonus on top of base pay.
