Great opportunity: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a public park. Your main tasks: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
