Immediate opening: natural gas fitter (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Antelope County, Nebraska. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. You will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
