Diesel mechanic — Delaware County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Delaware County, New York. You will be based at an authorised dealership workshop. You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance The role involves: • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Service and replace timing belts and chains Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
