Great opportunity: TIG welder (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Custer County, Nebraska. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
