Aluminium TIG welder — Marion County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Marion County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
