Vacancy available: bench joiner (Katsina State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bench joiner in Musawa, Katsina State. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
