Godown forklift operator — Renfrewshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a godown forklift operator in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The job is at a freight and logistics depot. The role involves: • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking • Shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit You should have: • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Accurate, careful stock handling Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
