Foundry operative — Decatur County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Decatur County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
