Join our team: MIG/MAG welder (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
