Gypsum plasterer wanted in Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Jefferson County, Tennessee. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
