Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Etowah County, Alabama. You will work in a supermarket meat department. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife.
