Sheet metal welder wanted in Ocean County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Ocean County, New Jersey. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
