We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Chilton County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
