Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Refuel the machine and record running hours Rotating shifts.
