We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour.
