We are recruiting: aluminium tig welder (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Robertson County, Texas. The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
