We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in City and Borough of Leeds, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £5,500 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
