Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Houghton County, Michigan. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
