Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ringgold County, Iowa. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE 1+ years on the tools preferred.
