We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Hughes County, Oklahoma. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On the job you will handle: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
