Reinforcement fitter — Sanborn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Sanborn County, South Dakota. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
