GTAW welder — Lincoln County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Lincoln County, Oklahoma. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
