Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Washington County, Iowa. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day to day you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
