Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in City of Roanoke, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day to day you will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; measure rope tension and check for broken strands.
