Now hiring: rebar worker (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Madison County, Illinois. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On the job you will handle: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
