Elevator technician • Loudoun County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Loudoun County, Virginia. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
