Safety inspector • Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
